She has kept a dignified silence throughout her marriage collapse.
But Ant McPartlin’s estranged wife, Lisa Armstrong , has certainly communicated her inner-most feelings on social media, this week.
The 41-year-old has been subtly active on Twitter, where she’s ‘liked’ several messages of support in the past 24 hours.
And, interestingly, one eludes to a reconciliation with her husband.
Specifically, she recently endorsed an inspirational phrase by A.J.Lawless, which said: “I know the rain is cold my dear, but dance in it a little while you wait for the sun.”
To many, this is a clear sign of optimism that their ailing union could improve – the ‘sun’ being a metaphor for their life beyond the pair’s current woes.
She then liked another post which said: “You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and move on like the queen you are.”
A third message came directly from a fan who posted a heartfelt (but grammatically-incorrect) missive of support.
“I see the hurt and pain on your face today sorry your [sic] hounded & not given a moments peace,” they said.
“Your [sic] such a beautiful gracious lady. I wish I could take all this pain away and wrap it up and throw it away so that we could see a smile once more upon your face & peace in your heart.”
