A pedestrian bridge has collapsed in Florida leaving several cars trapped.
The newly-installed 950-tonne bridge at the Florida International University collapsed on Thursday afternoon.
It is at the Miami school’s main campus.
Several cars are trapped underneath and early reports indicate one person has been injured, but this is not yet confirmed.
According to the Miami Herald, the bridge was dubbed an “instant” bridge, and was installed on Saturday, to help students at the university get across the busy road.
