EastEnders hard man Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) admitted defeat as he was ran out of Walford by the evil Aidan Maguire (Patrick Bergin). At the start of tonight’s EastEnders, Mick was ready to take on the Irish gangster after months of torment.
Aidan had made Mick’s life hell after he was part of the botched robbery which saw the now infamous heist money go missing. EastEnders spoilers revealed that it was Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) that had swiped the money right from under Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) nose. But Aidan has had it in for pub landlord Mick, choosing to deal drugs in the Queen Vic’s loos. Packing off mum Shirley (Linda Henry) and Tina (Luisa Bradshaw White) into a cab, Linda and Mick decided to get the tube away from East London.
But Mick’s exit plan was scuppered when he made the rookie Londoner error of leaving his Oyster card in his wallet – which was still at the pub. Giving wife Linda one last kiss, Mick made his way back to the Queen Vic, and waited for his final showdown with Aidan. EastEnders viewers are now left on tenterhooks for tomorrow night’s epic battle between the two, which will see Aidan and Mick grapple for control of Walford. Flocking to Twitter, fans offered up support for Mick, with one writing: “Anybody else a little bit scared for Mick? Come on, someone help him out!”
