MICHELLE Ryan, who played Zoe Slater in EastEnders, has finally confirmed her comeback.
Big Mo (Laila Morse) will waltz back to Walford with news that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) is dead.
Mo will break the news to a devastated Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) and tell her hometown residents that she wants to give Kat the huge send-off she deserves.
However, Mo hasn’t got the cash for a funeral and has to resort to putting on a Kat-themed fundraising night at the Queen Vic.
Nonetheless Kat – who is very much alive and well – will return to Walford and scarper her grandmother’s money-making plans.
Many believed that Kat making her iconic comeback would pave the way for Slater sisters Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth), Lynne Slater (Elaine Lordan) and daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) to reprise their roles too.
Well, Michelle is returning to a BBC program this year – but it won’t be EastEnders.
The 33-year-old will return to Doctor Who as vixen Lady Christina de Souza.
Lady Christina was last seen on a flying double decker bus in 2009 in the show’s Planet of the Dead episode alongside David Tennant.
