Horrific moment Leicester City crash helicopter goes into tailspin before fatal smash

This is the chilling moment the Leicester City helicopter goes into a tailspin moments before its fatal crash.

In the video, the chopper can be seen taking off from the centre circle inside the King Power stadium before it loses control in a tailspin while rising into the night sky.

Ground staff can be seen leaping off their feet as the helicopter dramatically spirals towards the ground.

Moments later it disappears out of sight behind the arena before smashing into wasteland nearby and bursting into flames.

The tragedy claimed the lives of five people, including the club’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Two of the 61-year-old’s staff – Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare – were also killed as well as pilot Eric Swaffer and passenger Izabela Roza Lechowicz.

More than 1000 staff, corporate guests and members of the media were still inside the stadium when the aircraft went down following the Foxes’ match against West Ham on Saturday.
