SCARLETT Moffatt has already annoyed her new neighbours with her “eyesore” new home.
The angry residents have blasted the Saturday Night Takeaway star’s newly-built £300,000 pad for failing to fit in with their picturesque village.
Scarlett, 27, moved into the detached four-bedroom house in her native North East a few months ago.
The new build is set on a T-junction in the village, and locals believe it doesn’t fit into the look of their town.
The former reality star’s posh pad comes with it’s own cinema and games rooms, a large open-plan kitchen, complete with a central staircase.
One villager told The Mirror: “It’s an eyesore that sticks out like a sore thumb and lets the village down.
“It’d look better in a field with more land around it. It’s far too modern.
“It’s got hardly any garden and you’re looking out on to other people’s walls.”
Another local, who has lived there 54 years, thought Scarlett’s home was going to be a bungalow.
