Scottish Swimming Pool Closed For 36 Hours After Someone Leaves FLOATER In Water

A SCOTS swimming pool was forced to close for 36 hours after someone left a FLOATER in the water.

Bosses at Hamilton Water Palace in Lanarkshire had to close their doors to the public for almost two days while the dealt with the stink.

A full clean of the pools at the venue took place after the incident on Sunday evening.

The pool announced on Facebook that they had to temporarily close due to an “accidental faecal release.”

Hamilton Water Palace had originally posted a closure notice on its Facebook page on Sunday evening.

The team said: “We regret to inform you that our main pool shall be closed due to an accidental faecal release (AFR).

“We hope to open again on Tuesday morning 7.30am the leisure pool shall be open as normal.”

The venue reopened this morning and it is now business as usual.
