Former Tottenham player Marcus Edwards has been involved in a car accident while on his way to training with his current team Sporting Lisbon. The 24-year-old winger is reported to be shaken but unharmed following the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle involved was also unharmed. Emergency responders, including police, firefighters, and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene.
An overturned Range Rover, pictured at the site, was identified as Edwards’ vehicle in local reports about the accident.
The incident is reported to have occurred near Atalaia, north of Lisbon.
