A murder investigation has been initiated following the discovery of a woman’s body in a river.
The lifeless body of a 34-year-old woman was recovered from the River Severn in Llanidloes, Wales on Sunday.
Authorities have confirmed the arrest of a 46-year-old man on suspicion of murder, who is currently in police custody.
There is no active search for additional suspects in relation to this disturbing incident.
Efforts are underway to establish the identity of the victim, described as a Caucasian female measuring approximately 5 feet 4 inches in height, with a slender physique.
The woman’s distinctive features include exceptionally long dreadlocks that extend beyond her waist. She was last seen wearing a grey top, dark trousers, and white trainers.
