Actor John Beasley, known for his roles in Everwood and The Soul Man, has passed away at the age of 79.
The news was announced in a heartfelt Facebook post written by his son, Mike W. Beasley.
In the post, Mike expressed his sadness at losing his father, who he referred to as his best friend and hero. Mike also thanked his father for everything he had done and expressed his hope of having made him proud.
