Singer Paloma Faith reveals she had heartbreaking secret miscarriage on set of huge TV show

PALOMA Faith has opened up about suffering a heartbreaking secret miscarriage on the set of a huge TV show. The singer and actress, 42, who shares two daughters with her ex Leyman Lahcine, has confessed she was scared to reveal what she was going through at the time in case she lost her job.

Paloma was filming 2019 drama Pennyworth – in which she played Bet Sykes. Speaking on the How to Fail with Elizabeth Day podcast, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker said: “[The miscarriage] started at work and it was a fight scene on Pennyworth.

“I just thought to myself, It’s gone so I might as well carry on with what I was doing. I had to go to the toilet nine times. “I told them I ate something bad last night because I knew if I told them they would escort me home. “I didn’t want to. I would just be going home without work and without a viable pregnancy.”

Paloma also told how she suffered a traumatic ectopic pregnancy following IVF treatment. She continued: “I then had an ectopic pregnancy with the first one then my fertility starts going because I’ve had one tube damaged. The second time worked, so I was lucky because I actually ended up with 2 viable pregnancies quite quickly.”
