The deadly accident took place on the A11 motorway between the Uckermark triangle and the Schmölln junction at around 3pm on Saturday, police say.

A 29-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man have been confirmed as the two deaths, police spokeswoman Beate Kardels said.

The bus was coming off of the motorway and trying to drive into a car park when it overturned, Kardels added.
