10 PEOPLE, including children, have sustained injuries in a multi-car collision.
The distressing collision occurred on the A39 near Newquay shortly after midday.
The A39 has been shut down in both directions near Carland Cross.
A Devon and Cornwall Police force incident manager remarked, “Ten casualties, including elderly persons and children. One of particular interest. No mention of life-threatening or life-changing. Road closure from Trispen to St Erme.”
